General Information

The International Conference on Computer and Applications ICCA'18 (Third Edition) is an annual event focusing on state of the art technologies pertaining to digital information, communications and multimedia. It is an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to meet and discuss the recent trends in computer applications. It opens a new horizon for research collaboration locally and internationally.
The two-day conference will consist of oral and poster presentations with plenary sessions. All submitted papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published as a collective work in an electronic format and will be submitted for indexing in IEEE Xplore. The proceedings of ICCA’17 are published in IEEE Digital Library .
ICCA’18 is a good opportunity for participants to meet with leading researchers working on cutting edge engineering research projects. The conference represents an exceptional opportunity to find potential collaborators and introduces your University and institutions in front of key academic leaders.

PROCEEDINGS PUBLICATION

All accepted and registered papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library (authors should sign akso the IEEE copyright form ). Please note IEEE cannot guarantee the proceedings of any conference will be published in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. Every conference is subject to a quality review upon receipt, as such, IEEE reserves the right to withhold publishing of proceedings that do not meet the IEEE quality standards.

Authors can also publish an extended version of their paper in the
International Journals of Computing and Information Sciences - IJCIS (doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.21700/ijcis.2018.xxx
) issue. The potential date of the special issue is December 2018. No additional cost will be requiered from the authors.

Alternatively, the program committee will select the best papers to be published by Springer-Verlag in a book on "Recent Trends in Computer Applications for Sustainable Development" and in a special issue of the journal of Complex & Intelligent Systems (Indexed in Web Of Science ). The selected papers should be extended by at least 35% in order to be considered as chapters in the book.

Call for Special Sessions

ICCA 2018 welcomes submissions for special sessions that offer visions of emerging fields in the areas of Computer and Communication. Accepted Special Sessions will occur during the conference schedule. The minimum number of oral presentations should be more than 4.

The required information needed for a special session proposal is the following:
– Title of the special session and the name of the organizers;
– A short description on how the session will be organized;
– The authors and abstracts of few papers to be included in the special session;
– Short Bio of the session organizers and contact information;

Important Dates:
– Deadline for special session proposal: June 27, 2018.
– Notification of Acceptance: 3 days after submission.

CubeSat Technologies: Mission Analysis and Subsystems Design.

Sending a nanosatellite into space in emerging countries is a success in itself. In turn, such project gives high international visibility for Universities, Research Centers and Industry partners.

Authors are encouraged to submit high quality, original work written in English that has neither appeared in, nor is under consideration by other conferences or journals according to the following IEEE format MS WORD OR LATEX Templates Paper submission is done through EDAS (http://edas.info/24063) management system. Authors who cannot access the EDAS system, can send their submission to ICCA'18 SUBMISSION. Authors should submit a signed letter stating that they will not submit their paper to other conferences or journals before the final notification of the conference chair.
Special privileges will be given to young researchers (i.e., PhDs, Research Assistant, Postdoctoral fellow) to publish their work and participate in the conference. In fact, we would like to encourage them to be more engaged in research. ICCA'18 will be an excellent opportunity for young researchers to meet with world-class scholars and discuss with them their findings.

Ethical Requirements
The conference chairs requires that authors of submitted paper should provide a separate letter uploaded with the paper stating that:
• The paper is original and was not published before.
• It is the own work of the author(s).
• The paper is submitted solely to ICCA'18 and will not be submitted to any other conference or journal before the final decision of ICCA'18 chairs.
• The paper does not have any plagiarism contents.
• The author will register the paper by three days after the acceptance notification.

Registration Information


The registration fee covers one paper publication only in IEEE eXplore (Conference ID: 24063 Register Here) , lunches and coffee breaks during the conference period. All accepted papers should be registered by THREE DAYS MAXIMUM after the acceptance notification in order to be considered in the proceedings. No reimbursement will be made after the author's registration and payment. Authors should sign the IEEE copyright form and submit it along with their camera-ready by July 17, 2018. At least one author should register and present the paper.
